Movie or Book?
After watching Animal Farm, do you think the movie resembles the story in its full extent? Is there any detail of the story that you could understand better by watching the movie? What have you enjoyed the most, reading or watching Animal Farm?

i prefer reading the book than the film, but the movie wasn´t so bad =) a detail of the movie that helped me to understand more the story was that the dog told what was goin´g on and that the animals talked (literaly) with humans.
I prefer watching the film because is quiecker than reading the book. but there some things that are retached in the film thata changes the story ...and some that doesn't make the story.
I think both are different..I agree with cande when she says that the dog helps you to understand the story..but I prefer to read the book because I like to imagine my own story, create the atmosphere while i'm reading..
i think i prefer watching the movie, but i must admit the film was awful. Reading the book is not so bad, sometimes it's better than watching the movie, with regards to animal farm i liked both.
From where I see it, the book is far better than the film. It has more details and once you got used to it the movie seems to be irreal and in some points different. I didn´t watch the entire film, but the order of the scenes were changed and the pigs where really really disgusting
p.s: rereading my comment I had to need to make some changes.
In my humble opinion the movie was not as good as the book, some important parts where ommited and changed. In any case this type of story is not of my preferance.I like the romantic style.
I prefer the book rather than the film. I tend to think that films based on books are far less better than the book itself. The arguments are changed and the order of the events as well. WHY?
I prefer the book beacuase it has more details than the film. When I saw the movie I could notice that it´s very different from the book. While reading I realised what the autor is trying to transmit, not as in the film

Welcome to our blog! Here we will keep in touch during the whole school year and share our activities.
Instructions: For each reading assignment I would like you to post something to this blog about the reading. Among the things you may want to comment on are:
1- Things that have happened in the story at this point and their significance to the overall story.
2- Characters (their actions, motivations, what they say, how they affect other characters, etc.)
3- Quotes from the reading, especially if they are significant in developing the many themes in the novel.
4- Questions that you have about what you've read (including things you don't understand)
Make sure that you put your name at the beginning of each entry you make so that we know who you are as we read the blog.I hope to make this blog a major part of our class discussion over the daily reading, but how effective that is depends entirely on what you contribute. Remember, you need to post something for each reading assignment, and it must be posted before you come to class. I will leave the length up to you, but what you write should be long enough to meaningfully contribute to our discussion. I will discuss with you a fair way to give credit for these blog postings.

i prefer reading the book because i see that in the book the story is more similar to the urss revolution than the story of the film.
