The theme of the novel is descrimination. In my opinion it is an excellent film, i love it. It show perfectly how descrimination continues appearing after all the improvements that the united state society made according to black people threaten.
No to descriminaaaatioooon!!!!!!!!!
pooor manu he is so sensitive with this type of topics
The main theme is as joquin said discrimination, racial discrimination. Also, the conflict that borns between if somebody is guilty or not and that sort of things. I really enjoyed it, although the end is a little bit utopic. The movie shows that appearances may not be what they seem to be
well i hink that theme is... i don't know how to call it, but is like... when you think that all is lost you aren't do nothing, but you have to keep traying.
i enjoyed the film but i think that we could saw the film " to kill a mockingbird" with greory peck, what a "pedaso de actor.
The theme of the movie is discrimination, between diferent colours of skin. It´s also about as thay had already said about guiltiness or not, depending on each case. I really enjoy watching it, eventhgh there were some hard parts. I love the ending =)
As the others said, the theme is discrimination between the blacks and the whites. I believe that persistence can be another theme. Because Matthew McConaughey persisted with his job, although that was difficult and he had some people oppose to him. I really enjoyed the film, and the worst is that discrimination between some people happens nowadays
The theme of the novel is discrimination.I like the film beocouseit refelcts perfectly the feelings of all the characters and how they live with this problem. One moment i like was when the lawyer tell what the men did to the little girl and he said:"imagine that she was white" and becouse of that people could understand the reaction of her father.

ESCUELA DE LOS PADRES - 4TH Year Literature 2008
Welcome to our blog! Here we will keep in touch during the whole school year and share our activities.
Instructions: For each reading assignment I would like you to post something to this blog about the reading. Among the things you may want to comment on are:
1- Things that have happened in the story at this point and their significance to the overall story.
2- Characters (their actions, motivations, what they say, how they affect other characters, etc.)
3- Quotes from the reading, especially if they are significant in developing the many themes in the novel.
4- Questions that you have about what you've read (including things you don't understand)
Make sure that you put your name at the beginning of each entry you make so that we know who you are as we read the blog.I hope to make this blog a major part of our class discussion over the daily reading, but how effective that is depends entirely on what you contribute. Remember, you need to post something for each reading assignment, and it must be posted before you come to class. I will leave the length up to you, but what you write should be long enough to meaningfully contribute to our discussion. I will discuss with you a fair way to give credit for these blog postings.
