Have you imagined that the jury was going to declare Tom Robinson guilty?
What is your opinion of Atticus' reaction when Bob Ewell curses him out and spits in his face? What would you have done in Atticus' place?

I was really upset becuase of the jury´s statment. I was sure Tom was going to be declared inocent, but well, after analyzing the reasons it´s clear to me why the veredit said he was guilty. As regards Atticus reaction, I don´t know what I would have done, but I´m geting used to Atticus good and wise manners, so it´s natural that he reacted in the way he did.
At first i thought that Tom Robinson was going to be declared innocent, but in the other hand the differences between black and whithe played an enormeus papel in the jury's statement, so the decision is clearly. The attitude that Atticus had, was tipical to him. He is well-educated and he usually thinks before act, so is a reasonable decision to not do anything. Probably in his situation i would have done the same or maybe say something to defend my actions.
If i were the jury i´d ve condenned tom robbinson innocent. But he´s black... If i were Atticus i´d ve said something to Bob Ewell, but he is Atticus... his moral isfar from mine, i dont how he can stand him
First of all yes, i knew they were going to declare TR guilty because he is black And i think atticus attitude towards mr ewell was totally mature and intelligent
I was very surprise when the jury declare Tom Robinson guilty. I though Atticus could have save him. Regarding what Bob Ewell did, I would for sure have said something to him, probably i wouldn´t have act like Atticus. Eventhogh is beter Atticus´s reaction tna mine
I was sure that tom was going to be found guilty i think that Ewell reaction was unrespectfull and if I were Atticus I would have kicked his f******* a**
yes i thought that tom was going to be declare guilty because he is black man and in that time black men didn't have rspect for their rights, it was really dissaponinted but easy to imagine
i was really tend to think that tom was going to be declared inocent, thats why the decision oof the jury upset me. i think atticus resisted doing sopmething to ewell because is the right thing, and besides that, ewell wanted atticus to react with anger, and atticus was not going to give him that pleasure. i really dont know how would i react in that situation

Welcome to our blog! Here we will keep in touch during the whole school year and share our activities.
Instructions: For each reading assignment I would like you to post something to this blog about the reading. Among the things you may want to comment on are:
1- Things that have happened in the story at this point and their significance to the overall story.
2- Characters (their actions, motivations, what they say, how they affect other characters, etc.)
3- Quotes from the reading, especially if they are significant in developing the many themes in the novel.
4- Questions that you have about what you've read (including things you don't understand)
Make sure that you put your name at the beginning of each entry you make so that we know who you are as we read the blog.I hope to make this blog a major part of our class discussion over the daily reading, but how effective that is depends entirely on what you contribute. Remember, you need to post something for each reading assignment, and it must be posted before you come to class. I will leave the length up to you, but what you write should be long enough to meaningfully contribute to our discussion. I will discuss with you a fair way to give credit for these blog postings.

i think that atticus has acted like that because he is a gentleman. i think i would have punched him.
I thought Tom Robinson would be declare innocent, the jury's statement surprised me.
Regarding Atticus reaction, it's normal from him and I would have done the same. What could i do instead?
I imagine that the jury will declared tom robinson guilty, becuase the differences between black and white people were huge..
I was surprised by the reaction of Atticus. He always analized situations in life in a great way even in extreme ones.
If i were atticus i would hit ewell with cruelty..jjaja
