i was the first jeje, fui yo tmb el del "teacher esto funca"
Up to now it's difficult to remind every name and to know what animal is each one.
I can remember Old Major, the wisest. He inspires the rest of the animals for a rebellion. He said: "All animals are equal", and told the animals he had a dream, but he can't describe it, so he sang the song "Beast of England".
PS: I don't undestand too much what we have to do.
After Old Major died(he would be lenin), 3 other pigs took his position: Snowball, Napoleon, this two would take Stalin,Trotsky and Squealer i don't know who it's refer to.
As for the revolution it is very clear that means the Bolshevik's revolution. With the seven commandments, that later would be one, it is shown that a kind of communism is tried to be established. Well i don't really undestand if this is what you want, i hope so.
I think that, up to now, the book is a really fine allegory, its all very clear. From what I read, i think the rebellion won´t last long, and Napoleon will rise as a dictator, thats because Orwell said revolutions never worked as the revolutionaries always corrupted once they gain power. Napoleon seems to me as the most capable or intended to fall in this corruption.
Esta pagina es una masa!!!
it is good eficient and funny way to be conected between us.
the book i didn´t read it yet but don´t tell anyone... shshshsh
el GALLA
well up to now i think the book it´s quiet good. but as tatu said i don´t understand too much the relationship between the important characters of the second world word and the characters of the book. old major was the wisest pig, the one who teaches the others, while napoleon and the other pig were kind of intelligent but never worked.
well i hope in future i´ll understund a bit more =)
cande: i didn't say i don't undestand.. i said i dont remember
The book is quite good, but for really undersand it we need to have a general idea of what the russian revolution was and who is who in the book. What i don`t understand is why the "pigs" are the leaders and not other animal as the horses or what ever, there must be an explanation of why Orwell took this animal as the representers of Stalin, Lenin. Trotsxy.. etc
Joaquin G
I really appreciate all your comments. The reason the pigs were chosen was that all the other animals consider them them to be the most intelligent. As we discussed last class we have different opinions regarding who the most intelligent of the farm animals should be. As Joaquín very well asked, why do you think Orwell has chosen the pigs??
well teacher as you know i have to read the short storyes so here I'm leaving mey comments.
for "human is" i only have to say that is not completly bad but it could be better, should i tell them the plot?
and for " it's a good life" is good to but it's a little bit exageradou XD
Billy de Roth
Thank you martin =)
I can´t believe, i have the page of the blog !
Well Gaby, i don't like science fiction and for that reason i can't say that this stories are interesting.
"Human Is"..In my opinion Jill's was right with her decision to accept the Rexorian Lester. It is understandable that she wanted a man who didn't be cruel, ambitious, cold or something similar as the values that Lester had..So in this "man" she found love and a calm life.
"It's a Good Life".. It is amazing the power that Anthony's had in the society. By one hand,i like the way to live in the village, because everything had to be good, had to be fine just as it was, even if it wasn't. You only have to smile =)!
Well teacher, first of all I think you might be with your mouth to the toes, really surprised to see my comment, like saying "wow manuel is responsible".. yes yes.
Well, now talking about the first three chapters, I like the book, at the begining it is a bit confusing, with all the animals names, but when I started chapter 2and onwards y understood a bit more. About the containing of the book, I agree with celi that its a realy good allegory, I think he realtes rally good the diffrent animals with the society.
Well I dont really understand good what we have to do, but me objectivee was to post.
I salute you all.
Capaz me la mande a bit con el vocabulary, I invent some things creo.
C U tomorrow

NOw I'm so happy!!! Billy, the intention is not to retell the plot, maybe if you have enjoyed the stories or not, and maybe sharing something with your classmates. Guille! OK!! I didn't use to like science fiction either but in these stories we have read there's so much about human relationships and feelings that I got to like them a lot. Manu...you finally did it!! I mean, finishing the three chapters!!! I'm glad with your comment and I hope we all get to understand the whole story, and what's more, its message. Bye!!!
is difficult tu remember the name off all the character so i get confused. But I like the sory from the view of a story and not political
